NCDA releases the 3rd edition of The Internet Book
Newly Updated Online Resources
NCDA announces the publication of the book, The Internet: A Tool for Career Planning, (Third Edition, 2011) by Debra S. Osborn, Margaret Riley Dikel, James P. Sampson, Jr., and JoAnn Harris-Bowlsbey. It is now available online in the Career Resource Store.
NCDA has also updated all the links on the Resources webpage. The authors granted permission for the use of all the links by NCDA. These links include many resources, services, and tools which assist users in exploring careers, planning for the future, searching for employment, and finding the additional training necessary to pursue a dream. New categories of links have been added such as "Resources for Diverse Audiences" and "Social Networking Sites". Additionally, the entire "List of Industry and Occupation-Specific Resources has been expanded.
Counselors, clients, and website visitors will find both the book and the Resources webpage valuable tools in the career planning process.
