CDF Advisory Council - Aaron Leson

Aaron Leson is joining the Advisory Council while currently serving as the WIA Youth Program Manager in the South Central Michigan area. In this role, Aaron oversees a tri-county youth program that serves approximately 500 youth. Before this, he held the position of Lead Career Development Facilitator for the same organization. In his previous work, outside of direct career development services, Aaron was employed as a social studies teacher and an elementary principal.

Aaron has a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, and History from Spring Arbor University. He holds the Global Career Development Facilitator certificate, the Career Development Facilitator Instructor certificate, and is a level 3 certified High Performance Career Development Facilitator through WDPN and CCE.

In an additional capacity for his current employer, Michigan Human Resources Development Inc., he serves as one of two corporate trainers delivering CDF classes throughout the state. Currently, the two instructors have co-taught 11 CDF classes utilizing the NCDA Career Development Facilitator curriculum.
