OPA Members appear in COVID-19 Vaccines Promotional Video
Earlier this year, Governor DeWine challenged Ohio’s five managed care plans to increase COVID-19 vaccination rates among the state’s Medicaid population. The group responded by creating the Vax on the Spot initiative. Only 22% of Ohio’s Medicaid residents were vaccinated when the vaccination first became available. To date, the vaccination rate of Medicaid members aged 12 and over has increased by over 87% to 804,000 residents.
The managed care plans are excited to share this video, featuring powerful testimonials from members, providers, pharmacists, and community partners. It highlights the success of the Vax on the Spot campaign and what happens when we all work together with a common goal!
