Assistant or Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice

Marshall University

Position Title: Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Administration, and Research; School of Pharmacy.
Position Type: Position is non-tenure track, full-time 12 month appointment. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Reports directly to the department chair.
Qualifications: PharmD with residency or advanced training is preferred; must be eligible for licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of West Virginia; Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification preferred. Previous academic experience preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be willing to provide service to the college/university, the community, and the profession.
Duties: Both didactic teaching and hands on simulations which include laboratory experiences; academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and assessment; committee work at both the college and university level; scholarly/research activity in the candidate's area of expertise; and limited clinical practice.
