Reimagining Pharmacy
OPA's 145th Annual Conference & Trade Show is coming to Columbus, April 14 - 16, 2023. The 2023 OPA Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio on April 14-16 will offer pharmacists the opportunity to earn up to 12 hours of live continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit and additional hours of home-study CPE credit for full-conference registrants from on-demand CPE activities. This Conference will challenge you to reimagine pharmacy, by sharing best practices, innovative ideas, and updates on clinical practice guidelines to incorporate into your practice.
Can't attend in Columbus? More than 30 hours of select CPE programming will be available in a home-study, on-demand format from April 21 through June 30, 2023. On-Demand access is only available to full-conference registrants. An email was sent on April 21 to full-conference and On-Demand registrants with detailed instructions on how to access the OPA Annual Conference CPE On-Demand content via the Attendee Guide. Our annual Poster eSession will feature the research of the faculty and students from Ohio’s colleges of pharmacy, as well as practitioners from around the state. PAC eAssembly

Support pharmacy’s influence in Ohio’s General Assembly by attending the Political Action Committee eAssembly. You’ll hear from an influential Ohio legislator. You can also sponsor a student. This event requires a separate fee on the OPA Conference registration form and is only accessible by those who are registered for the PAC eAssembly.

eHouse of Delegates

The House of Delegates serves as the policy-
making body of the Association. Make your voice heard in directing the future of pharmacy practice in Ohio through the Resolutions and Bylaws processes. Watch for the Delegate Call and sign up to represent your district.
NOTE: Due to virtual restrictions, only those registered by 4/10/2021 can serve as a delegate. Those who register after 4/10/2021 will be able to attend the eHouse but will not have voting rights.

The OPA Annual Conference 2020 app/platform is only available for registered attendees. Conference content is available whether you use the desktop platform or the mobile app on your mobile device. You can attend from anywhere!
MOBILE DEVICE: After you’ve registered for the Conference, download the free Attendify app from the App Store/Google Play. Open the app and search for the “OPA Annual Conference 2021” event. When you open the OPA Annual Conference 2021 app for the first time, you will need to sign in using the email that you used to register for the Conference. Create an app profile with your name and a password. A verification email will be sent to you. Once acknowledged, you will have access to all of the OPA Annual Conference 2021 content.
DESKTOP: After you’ve registered for the Conference, access the NEW OPA Annual Conference 2020 virtual platform on your desktop at http://bit.ly/OPA2021Virtual. When you open the OPA Annual Conference 2021 platform for the first time, you will need to sign in using the email that you used to register for the conference. In this annual competition, students have been invited to submit business plans detailing the loan request, mission statement ,detailed description of the business, marketing plan and financial reports for buying a pharmacy or developing innovative pharmacy services. Three finalist teams will present their plans to a panel of judges. Hear what the students envision for the future of pharmacy and get ideas for your own practice.
Hot Topics for New Practitioners and Beyond

Continuing Education Credit
This meeting is targeted to all pharmacists and student pharmacists. The continuing pharmacy education for this program is coordinated by the Ohio Pharmacists Foundation (OPF). To receive continuing pharmacy education credit, you must view the entire video, actively participate, answer post-activity questions, and complete evaluations to claim and submit credit through the LecturePanda.com platform, which will upload credits to the CPE Monitor. CPE Statements of Credit can be printed from the CPE Monitor.
Speakers are expected to openly disclose intent to discuss any off-label or investigational use of drugs, devices, or equipment in their presentations. All CPE sessions are knowledge-based activities unless otherwise indicated.
