OPA/IACP: The first Compound Conference held in Columbus
The Compound Conference brought together leaders in the pharmacy compounding profession, and offered a variety of continuing pharmacy education sessions focused on understanding the essentials in building a compounding practice. The Conference, a joint meeting of the Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) and the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP), was held August 15 in Columbus. It attracted pharmacists, student pharmacists, and technicians who were starting out in compounding pharmacy, or were working in established practices and wanted to advance their business. The Exhibit Hall offered attendees a wealth of information in this industry.
