CERTA Roofing Torch Safety Training
CERTA training is designed for experienced roofing professionals whose work involves torch-applied roofing systems. The program provides training on the safe use of roofing torches used to apply polymer-modified bitumen roofing products.
CERTA training addresses roofing torch safety, roof-system configuration and application techniques with the goal of promoting fire-safe roofing installations.
What Is CERTA Roofing Training?
CERTA provides experienced roof-system installers with training focused on the safe use of roofing torches for polymer-modified bitumen roofing applications. Training combines safety education with information about roof-system configuration and application techniques used in torch-applied roofing work.

CERTA Training Information
How Long Is CERTA Training?
Trainings typically run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the classroom portion in the morning and hands-on training in the afternoon.
CERTA Re-Certification
Eligible participants receive a $40 discount per person for re-certification after eligibility is verified with NRCA.
CERTA Class Requirements
All training sessions have a minimum class size and minimum training fee requirement.

In-Person CERTA Applicator Training
In-person CERTA training includes classroom instruction and hands-on evaluation. The entire course is conducted live and in person.
