Join us on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center as Dr. Graham Cochran of the OSU Leadership Center discusses how mentoring programs can benefit your membership by strengthening awareness of core principles, key product and services and assisting your members’ personal growth.
Mentoring relationships can take many forms. Coaches mentor athletes in perfecting their game – parents mentor children throughout their upbringing – executives often mentor rising stars in their organizations. The list goes on.
Some of these mentoring relationships happen naturally, while others are a more formal arrangement, complete with expectations, goals and a finite time period for accomplishing them.
In the association world, implementing and cultivating formal mentoring relationships and programs among your members can provide lasting value. Senior members can help junior members perfect their professional skills, all while creating a tighter bond to your association, driving member satisfaction and retention.
