How did you get interested in the profession of pharmacy? I was originally a biology minor aspiring to be a veterinarian when I took organic chemistry and fell in love with it. Once I changed my major to chemistry, I thought to myself now what? This is when I decided to explore the option of pursuing a career in pharmacy. After obtaining a technician job at Walgreens Pharmacy, I knew pharmacy was the right choice for me as it combined my love for math, science, and people. |
|
Why did you choose OPA as a rotation? I chose OPA as a rotation site because I am passionate about advocating for the profession of pharmacy. I have been very active in pharmacy organizations at the local and nation level throughout my pharmacy education. One of my long term goals is to work at a state association to continue the advancement of the profession. |

What was the most significant or surprising experience at OPA? Too many to list! |
