April 8: Pharmacist Administered Injectables Certificate Training Program

 

OPA is pleased to re-introduce its live training program on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, for pharmacists who plan to administer dangerous drugs by injection.

Pharmacists who plan to administer these dangerous drugs must:

The Ohio Pharmacists Foundation offers this certificate training program to meet these requirements. The program includes 10 hours (1.0 CEUs) of home study coursework and 3.5 hours (0.35 CEUs) of live coursework. Both home and live portions must be completed to receive the certification. Participants will also receive a protocol package which includes draft protocols for pharmacist administered injectables.

The live training will be held as a pre-Annual Conference Training event at the Hilton Columbus at Easton, 3900 Chagrin Dr Columbus Ohio, 43219.

10:00-10:10 am Break
10:10-10:40 am Patient Populations, Protocol Requirements, & Patient Privacy

11:10-12:10 pm Drug Product Preparation, Supplies, & Demo Device
