Tell us a little bit about your practice site.
It is a grocery store-based community pharmacy. We offer Medication Therapy Management, wellness coaching, medication synchronization, immunizations, health screenings, and healthy shopping tours.

How long have you been an OPA member? What’s been your best experience so far?
I have been a member of OPA since 2012. I love going to the OPA Annual Meeting every year to see classmates and network with pharmacists from all around Ohio!

What’s been your favorite moment of your career so far?
My favorite moment of my career so far has been completing my PGY1 Community Pharmacy Practice Residency with The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and Kroger Pharmacy.

What’s the best career advice you’ve offered or been given?
Opportunities don’t happen, you create them.

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a new practitioner and how did you overcome it?
Taking on a new leadership position is always challenging. When I became an assistant pharmacy leader, I moved to a new store with new patients, technicians, and responsibilities. I worked hard to gain everyone’s trust and prove that I could follow through on my responsibilities.
