COA will elect its Executive Council, hear an educational program on diabetes, and present awards at the Annual Meeting, April 14, 2011, at Worthington Inn.
Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine Dean Jack Brose, DO, will receive the James F. Sosnowski, DO, Distinguished Service Award, and State Representative Terry A. Johnson, DO, will receive the William I. Linder, DO, Advocate Award. They will be recognized for their many achievements and dedication to osteopathic medicine.
During the business portion of the meeting, Maury L. Witkoff, DO, of Gahanna, will be installed as COA president for 2011-2012.
The evening begins at 6:00 with a reception. The dinner and program are scheduled to start at 6:30 PM.
Family Practice residents at Doctors Hospital are the special guests for the evening. All COA members (active practice, semi-retired, retired, etc.) and osteopathic residents, interns, and students in Central Ohio are invited.
