Diane Hurd
Diane Hurd is senior vice president and partner at Inspire, where she has helped shape the firm’s growth and client services since its founding. With nearly two decades of experience, she leads account teams serving major U.S. food companies, agriculture organizations, schools, corporations, and member associations. Diane’s expertise spans strategic media relations, advertising and marketing, issues management, and crisis communications. A trusted advisor and national speaker, she regularly presents on crisis preparedness and best practices for communicating a brand’s story.
Prior to Inspire, Diane led award-winning projects at PR and communications agencies in Columbus, Ohio, across sectors including healthcare, social services, finance, food and agriculture, and hospitality. She is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Columbus Speech & Hearing, as a former president of PRSA Central Ohio, and as a 2020 Leadership Columbus alumna. Recognized as a Columbus Business First 40 Under 40 honoree, Diane earned her MBA from Franklin University and her bachelor’s in public relations and organizational communication from Capital University.
