Obituary for Rolfe “Andy” Anderson

Father-in-Law of Pete Minges and Grandfather of Elyse Lanker, both of Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home

Rolfe “Andy” Anderson. Beloved husband for 36 years of the late Shirley Ann (nee Terrace) Anderson. Loving father of Debbie (Pete) Minges and David (Barb) Kise. Very proud and loving grandpa/papa of Christine (Alex) Brookbank, Elyse (Kyle) Lanker, Annie (Alan) Flood, Michele (Nick) Schneider, Tony Kise (Amy Phillips), and Michelle (Chris) Carr. Cherished great grandpa of Benjamin, Noah, and Charlie Brookbank, Oliver Flood, Lucy and Jaxon Carr, and two on the way. Caring father-in-law of Linda (Pat) O'Malley. Son of the late Stanley and Dorothy (nee Larsen) Anderson. Dear brother of Owen (JoEllen) Anderson and Dan (Bonnie) Anderson. Brother-in-law of Ronald (Verlaine) Terrace, Dennis Terrace, Barb Terrace and the late Connie, Tony, Donald, and Rose Terrace. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family, friends and neighbors in Florida. Went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2025 at the age of 77.

Rolfe was a proud US Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He spent his professional career with GE as a maintenance supervisor in Dayton, Ohio. In 2020, Rolfe decided to move to Leesburg, Florida where he could spend time on his boat fishing on Lake Harris or golfing whenever he wanted. Above all, Rolfe was a devout Catholic, loved his family and friends deeply and enjoyed traveling the world. You could always count on a friendly smile and good laugh when you were in his company. His family finds great comfort in knowing he is now reunited with the love of his life, Shirley.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th from 5pm-7pm at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave Cincinnati, OH 45211. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th at 10am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 9579 Yankee Rd, Springboro, OH 45066. Burial with full military honors to follow at Springboro Cemetery.
