The day began with blue skies and sunshine (one of the few we have had in this area) and we made it through to the end with no rain (which is really hard to do lately). The day's winning score was a 15 under par 57. The players on this year's first place team were: Bill Wappner, Bud Eichholtz and Tom Johnson.

$500.00 Monthly Raffle
The Mortuary Response Team (MRT) is currently undertaking the large project of raising funds to purchase equipment for a mobile morgue. The estimated cost of the project is $150,000. The team has received many donations but we are still far from reaching our goal. With a project of this size it is going to take time and effort in many directions to be successful. With this in mind the MRT came up with an idea to raise money and give OFDA members a chance to donate and win money at the same time.

The OFDA Mortuary Response Team $500 Monthly Raffle officially started at the OFDA annual convention in April. Here is how the raffle works: for each $50 donation you will receive a numbered ticket, on the first Monday of each month for one year a winning ticket will be drawn (May and June winners have been drawn) and the lucky winner will receive $500; that winning ticket will then be returned to the pool of tickets offering the opportunity to win again. The lucky winner will be contacted after each drawing. We hope you join the fun and support a great cause at the same time.
