Employer Demographic Information

At BWC, we are committed to ensuring businesses are aware of all the updates, resources, rebate options, rating programs and safety services available to you.

However, we need to be able to communicate with the employer community properly.  To maintain the highest quality of service, we ask employers to verify and update all the demographic information on their policies.  This includes items like accurate business and mailing addresses, contact persons, phone numbers and email addresses. Demographic updates to a policy can be done very easily through the My Policy Page at www.bwc.ohio.gov.

E-account Updates

BWC is very transparent when it comes to providing employers information regarding their policy.  And confident, secure online access is paramount in helping employers manage the policy efficiently and effectively.

Access to the employer policy is granted through an e-account.  Employer e-accounts should be closely monitored due to the sensitive, confidential, and personal information available on our website.  If the primary or a secondary user has left the company, their respective e-accounts should be permanently disabled, and new ones created.  Additionally, BWC suggests each person who needs access to the BWC policy, should have their own secondary account, which is managed by the primary e-account holder.  Users should never share a primary or secondary account.

For assistance with updating and managing e-account access, employers should contact BWC’s call center at 800-644-6292.

Better You, Better Ohio!

BWC continues to promote Better You, Better Ohio! (BYBO), a full wellness program designed to provide health and wellness resources to workers who work for small employers (250 or fewer workers) in high-risk industries assuming the employer does not currently have a wellness program in place.

BYBO offers workers financial rewards (up to $225) for taking steps to improve their health and wellness such as completing a health assessment and a biometric screening.  Health coaching and activity incentives are also available.

BWC offers a monthly informational webinar for any employer who wants to know more.   Employers may register for the July webinar using the following link:  Tuesday, August 15, 2023 10:00 AM

Another great fact about BYBO:  if, as an employer, you don’t think you are eligible due to your size or industry, simply enrolling in the Substance Use Recovery and Workplace Safety Program (SURWSP) makes you eligible for BYBO!  BWC permits any employer in SURWSP to be eligible for the BYBO program, regardless of industry or size. Participation in the program is subject to the rules and policies of the BYBO program.
