Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators
The Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) is the largest national specialty organization dedicated to improving patient care and quality of life by defining, enhancing, and promoting the role of oncology nurse and patient navigators. Our organization of over 8,200 members was founded in May 2009 to provide a network for all professionals involved and interested in patient navigation and survivorship care services to better manage the complexities of the cancer care treatment continuum for their patients. We view our organization as one consisting of “professional patient advocates” and, to that end, we support and serve our members.
American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has state divisions and more than 3,400 local offices.
American Cannabis Nurses Association
The American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA) is a national organization dedicated to expanding the knowledge base of endo-cannabinoid therapeutics among nurses. It was founded by a small group of dedicated nurses who saw the need for an organization to bring nurses together in a collegial and informational capacity to discuss the growing use of cannabis in medicine.
American Nurse Association
The American Nurses Association (ANA) is the only full-service professional organization representing the interests of the nation's 3.1 million registered nurses. The ANA advances the nursing profession by fostering high standards of nursing practice, promoting the rights of nurses in the workplace, projecting a positive and realistic view of nursing, and by lobbying the Congress and regulatory agencies on health care issues affecting nurses and the public.
Cancer.Net
Cancer.Net provides timely, comprehensive, oncologist-approved information from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), with support from the Conquer Cancer Foundation. Cancer.Net brings the expertise and resources of ASCO to people living with cancer and those who care for and about them to help patients and families make informed health care decisions.
Michigan Home Care and Hospice Association
MHHA is the unified voice, principal resource and advocate for the success of its member organizations as best practice providers of home health, hospice, private duty, home medical equipment and pharmacy-infusion services for the residents of Michigan.
Michigan Nurses' Association
The MNA, nurses’ voice for 100 years, is the largest nurses union in the state of Michigan. The MNA promotes the economic and general welfare of nurses in the workplace, fosters high standards of nursing practice and lobbies the legislative and regulatory agencies on health care issues affecting nurses and recipients of nursing services. MNA is a constituent member of National Nurses United, as well as an affiliate of the AFL-CIO.
MPN Research Foundation
The MPD Foundation funds innovative accountable research that produces results for patients with polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis. Founded by patients, for patients, MPD has strong relationships with researchers, clinicians and biopharmaceutical companies to ensure progress is being made to get us closer to a cure.
National Cancer Institute (NCI)
The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer.

Oncology Nursing Society
The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a professional organization of over 37,000 registered nurses and other healthcare providers dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and administration in oncology nursing.
