Introducing WebSuite2™ Mobile

by Thomas C. Snide, President
TCS Software, Inc.

Faster access to your contacts when you're on-the-go.

We just added an exciting new feature to WebSuite2™.  It's called WebSuite2 Mobile and it allows you to quickly access member contact information from your iPhone® or Droid®-based smartphone when you're on the road.

There's no app to install, simply access WebSuite2 using your phone. The interface automatically switches into a clutter-free 'mobile-friendly' mode.  This makes it much easier to login and quickly locate Contacts in a snap.

Once you've located a Contact, with a single click you can:

  • dial their phone number
  • send them an email
  • jump to their website
  • get directions

You can also quickly jump to their full Contact record for additional data.

Below are sample screen shots, in the order you would use them:

Also, you'll notice that the advanced 'Saved Searches' you've set up within the Contacts module are also available on the search window too.

Of course, accessing your membership data via the Internet with PRIMA® or WebSuite2 isn't something new.  What's new is that we've refined the WebSuite2 screens to make navigation and readability much better than before.

If someone in your organization is responsible for travelling to member locations on a regular basis, be sure to tell them about this new feature.

Another plus: If you are working in your office and the Internet goes down, you can still access your Contacts via your smartphone on a wireless (cellular) network.

Note that this feature is only visible to users with staff or admin-level access.

» Give it a try and let us know what you think.

And as always, thank you for using TCS Software.

I tried this out with my iPhone and it's pretty slick! I will definitely use this when I am on site and need to get a phone number or email address quickly.

The only trouble I had was getting to the TCSlabs.com page from Safari. It kept wanting to replace my text. Then it shows the labs link at the top but the TCS Software site in much bigger letters, which doesn't offer the log-in.

Once I figured it out I had no trouble logging in. Thanks for this great utility!
