Obituary for The Reverend Howard Nolte

The Reverend Howard Nolte died Saturday, October 22, 2011. He was born February 16, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio.

Pr. Nolte attended Capital University in Columbus, graduating in 1945 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He then attended Capital University's Seminary and graduated in 1948. He was ordained on August 29, 1948.

Pr. Nolte served the following Lutheran congregations during is ministry: St. Peter, Dillsboro, Indiana; Christ, Mapelton, Ohio; Israel, Paris, Ohio; Peace, Arnheim, Ohio; and Christ, Struthers, Ohio. He retired in 1986.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 3530 Dayton Xenia Rd., Beavercreek 45432. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 am prior to the funeral. Burial will follow the funeral service in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
