Dwelling in the Word Training

Join Pat Ellison, PhD, accomplished and dynamic consultant and trainer, for a one-day interactive training on Dwelling in the Word. Dwelling in the Word is intentional Bible study designed specifically for use by lay people. It works best in small and large groups that meet together regularly.

During the training on June 8, participants will practice, understand, and adopt in preparation for sharing with their congregations a tested process for deep listening to God, one another, and your neighbor. Dwelling in the Word is just that, dwelling, not giving His Word a cursory reading and moving on to the business of the day. Instead, groups will dwell on chosen Bible verses over a period of time using the process outlined in this training session. By living into the Bible passage over time, your group will begin to better understand God’s intended mission through your congregation.
