Sales Associate, WKQC & WNKS-FM
CBS Radio Charlotte
CBS Radio Charlotte is looking for aspiring Account Executives for stations WKQC-FM and WNKS-FM. This position is designed to provide the participant with training & development during a 10 month period to thoroughly learn the business of media sales. The Associate Program is designed with quality guidance that will allow the right candidate to transition into a full-time Account Executive position.
Responsibilities Include:
Reading and reviewing Sales Training Manuals
Attending sales meeting & training sessions
Creating leads for Account Executives
Brainstorm ideas with Sales Team
Prepare promotions plans & advertising proposals
Learn quantitative & Qualitative research
Develop weekly sales pieces to present to sales staff
Learn how to maintain & service accounts
Cold Calling
Assist Sales Assistants
The right candidate will be a team player who takes initiative with excellent written and verbal communication skills. All employees are expected to being a positive attitude to work, be cooperative and productive. Previous Radio sales experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with the following skills; data entry, reporting, graphic design and internet research. College degree, marketing or communications a plus.
