Reminder! Take the Mayo Clinic Health Assessment Today!
Portico Benefit Services (formerly ELCA Board of Pensions) members and their eligible spouses are reminded to take the Mayo Clinic Health Assessment before April 30, 2012. Those completing the health assessment will receive $150 personal wellness account credit.
Urban/Inner-City Clergy Invited to Monthly Cluster Meetings at First English, Columbus
The Urban Clergy Cluster in Central Ohio is extending an invitation to all clergy, in the Southern Ohio Synod, leading urban and inner-city congregations to join them on the first Tuesday of each month at 10 am for support, sharing of ideas, partnering and developing new joint ministries.

2012 Congregational Remittance Forms Sent by U.S. Mail "Attn: Congregational Treasurers/Financial Secretaries"
As shared in each conference during the 2011 Fall Road Shows, congregational treasurers and financial secretaries will be asked to use a new, more detailed form when remitting Mission Support and other contributions to the synod and ELCA.
Volunteers and Donations Needed for Tornado Clean Up in Alabama
Long term recovery volunteers are scheduled for Cullman. The immediate need is volunteers for debris removal. Monetary donations are also needed to help send volunteer teams and emergency supplies.
Scholarships Available for Ecumenical Advocacy Days--Deadline for Application is Feb 25
A limited number of partial scholarships are available for companion synod committee members to attend Ecumenical Advocacy Days, March 23-26, 2012, in Washington DC.
