Arnold-Ebbitt Interdisciplinary Rhetoricians (AEIR) at Penn State

Live-streaming the keynote address for our upcoming, RSA-sponsored conference called Camp Rhetoric

The Arnold-Ebbitt Interdisciplinary Rhetoricians (AEIR) at Penn State will be live-streaming the keynote address for our upcoming, RSA-sponsored conference called Camp Rhetoric. Every year, AEIR invites students and faculty from nearby universities in departments of English and communication to share their interdisciplinary research. This year, we are honored to host Professor Roxanne Mountford (University of Kentucky), whose award-winning work in fostering interdisciplinary rhetorical studies wonderfully exemplifies the broad goals of both RSA and Camp Rhetoric. Professor Mountford's talk, titled "Around 1914" will examine the historical foundation of the fault lines that have existed between communication and English departments for almost a century.

Professor Mountford's keynote will be broadcast Saturday, February 16th, from 1pm - 2:30 on the web via YouTube. RSA members may access the live-stream by tuning into AEIR's YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/AEIR2013
