2013 RSA Institute - Affordability

As promised, I write to bring you up to date on what we are doing to make the 2013 RSA Institute affordable.

First, although the Institute is funded mostly through registration fees, KU has donated nearly $20,000 to the 2013 Institute. This injection of local money has helped to offset registration costs. It has also enabled us to earmark nearly $10,000 to be dispersed to graduate student attendees. After application process is done, the Institute Steering Committee will distribute this money.

Second, we have cut costs on some of the receptions/meals and added a daily continental breakfast in the same building as most of the sessions. This will you save you the hassle of buying breakfast at the Conference Hotel (which is tasty, but not free) or finding a restaurant. Moreover, It will give everyone a chance to mingle over coffee and breakfast before going to their individual sessions. It is our hope that this time will not only save you money, but introduce a stronger sense of community between the various sessions.

Finally, please remember that the APPLICATION DEADLINE LOOMS! It is October 1. Please apply HERE.
