RSA - Guide to Minneapolis

Here is some information to help you get to Minneapolis and then to enjoy your stay!

I.  Air Travel

The Twin Cities metro area is served by the Minneapolis/St. Paul International airport (MSP).  There are five ways to travel from the airport to the Marriott City Center: light rail, van/shuttle, taxi, bus, and car.  See:

Ground Transportation from the Airport http://www.mspairport.com/GroundTransportation.aspx

The local arrangements committee recommends light rail because there is a light rail station within a short walk from the Marriott City Center.  There are light rail stations in each of the MSP terminals-Humphrey and Lindberg. Fares for adults are $2.25 during rush hours (Monday through Friday, 6 to 9 am and 3 to 6:30 pm) and $1.75 at other times. Tickets are sold at vending kiosks at the rail stations. Follow the signs at the terminal.

For the Marriott City Center, exit the train at the Nicollet Mall Stop (Nicollet and 5th St.).  The Minneapolis Marriott City Center is on 30 S 7th (on 7th St between Nicollet Ave and Hennepin Ave).  After you exit the light rail station at the Nicollet Mall, walk down Nicollet until 7th St; turn right on 7th. The Marriott City Center is on the right.
