Two current funding opportunities, Humanities Initiatives and Humanities Initiatives at Community Colleges, offer awards of up to $100,000. If eligible, institutions may submit the same application to both programs.
Humanities Initiatives
Application Closing Date: July 12, 2019 Humanities Initiatives aim to strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities by supporting the development or enhancement of humanities programs, resources, and/or courses. |
These grants serve:
- Hispanic-Serving Institutions
- Historically Black Colleges and Universities
- Tribal Colleges and Universities
Humanities Initiatives at Community Colleges
Application Closing Date: July 12, 2019 Designed to support community colleges’ commitment to educating students on a variety of educational and career paths, Humanities Initiatives at Community Colleges awards fund curricular and faculty development projects that help strengthen humanities and/or incorporate humanistic approaches in fields outside the humanities.
