How did you get interested in the profession of pharmacy? I have several family members who also graduated from UC as pharmacists, so the career was something I have been considering since high school. |
Why did you choose OPA as a rotation? I served on OPA’s Board of Trustees and the rotation was highly recommended from the UC student from last year, Eric Gillespie. I have been active with OPA and I hope to continue my activities and further learn about the organization through this rotation. |
What was the most significant or surprising experience at OPA? The most significant event I had at OPA was the Fall Membership Harvest. It exemplified what OPA’s greatest challenge, which is to get Ohio pharmacists to join the organization. It made members stand in front of their peers and condense the many benefits of the organization to a few sentences that would convince them to join. |

What other pharmacy associations/organizations do you belong to? APhA-ASP, SSHP-OSHP-ASHP, NCPA, Pharmacy Tribunal |
