Expanding Possibilities: Pharmacists in the Lead

Innovative, practical and informative continuing education programming has been planned for OPA’s 2012 Midyear Meeting, Sunday, November 11, centrally located at the Makoy Center in Hilliard, Ohio. Payment strategies for Medication Therapy Management services will be addressed in two of the programs, along with current trends in the pharmacist workforce. The program on drug diversion has been approved by the State Board of Pharmacy for jurisprudence CE credit. In addition, the program on smoking cessation counseling will provide pharmacists with valuable resources for their patients. Clinical programs on anemia, antipsychotics, and preconception care will be offered. The programming will benefit pharmacists in all practice sites, and it is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow pharmacists. Space is limited. Register now.

Continuing Education Credit
This meeting is targeted to all pharmacists. The continuing education for this program is coordinated by the Ohio Pharmacists Foundation (OPF). To receive continuing pharmacy education credit, you must complete the CE form indicating programs attended. Sign, date, and return the CE form to the OPA staff or office. Your CE credit will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor. Learning objectives for the continuing pharmacy education programs can be found on the OPA website at www.ohiopharmacists.org. All CE sessions are knowledge-based activities unless otherwise indicated. The Ohio Pharmacists Foundation adheres to ACPE Standards regarding industry support of continuing pharmacy education. Speakers are expected to openly disclose intent to discuss any off-label or investigational use of drugs, devices, or equipment in their presentations.
