CE Changes Effective July 1

CPE Monitor, the continuing pharmacy education (CPE) tracking service developed by ACPE and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), is now ready for use. This system allows pharmacists to log into a comprehensive electronic profile to access information about their completed CPE. All ACPE-accredited providers will be required to use this system.

Beginning July 1, 2012 all continuing education credits provided by the Ohio Pharmacists Foundation (the ACPE-accredited provider for OPA programs) will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor. CE statements of credit will no longer be mailed.

Quizzes received after July 1 will be graded as usual by OPA staff, submitted to ACPE, which will validate the information before sending it to NABP for the CPE Monitor. After CPE credits are processed by ACPE and NABP, pharmacists will be able to log into their NABP e-Profile and view all of their ACPE completed CPE.

CE credits for live programs and home-study quizzes will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor at the end of each month. OPA members can log into the Members Only section of the OPA website and click on “View My CE History” at any time to view the CE credit which we have processed for you.  For your convenience, your NABP e-Profile ID number also appears on the Members Only homepage.

In order to process your CE credits, you must provide us with your correct NABP e-Profile ID number and your birth month and day (MMDD format). The NABP e-Profile ID number is a six to 10 digit number, and it is NOT your license number or NPI number.  If you need to verify the number or have not yet registered for one, please visit www.MyCPEMonitor.net as soon as possible.
