Tietz earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Trey's response when asked Why do you belong to OPA?

I think the most important benefit is a simple word: OPPORTUNITY

I value many different aspects of my OPA membership, but I think these 3 opportunities below have been the most impactful to my career at this point:

1. Advocacy - getting involved in the fight for our profession

2. Personal & Professional Development - becoming a well-rounded leader in and out of the pharmacy

3. Networking - building relationships and collaborating to improve our profession

“We are pleased to recognize Trey Tietz who has exemplified leadership, excellence, and vision in his practice. He has been a valued member of the Association, and we look forward to his future contributions to the profession of pharmacy,” said Ernest Boyd, OPA Executive Director.

OPA, established in 1879, represents more than 4,000 pharmacists, pharmacy educators, and pharmacy students throughout the state. It is OPA’s mission to unite the profession of pharmacy and encourage interprofessional relations, while promoting public health through education, discussion, and legislation.
