If you use Gmail, taking action on the following information is critical to your ability to continue to receive OPA’s emailed communications. Gmail’s recently introduced tabbed inbox could dramatically change the way you receive OPA eBulletins, Voter Voice legislative alerts, and Ohio Pharmacy Newsline notifications. The new Gmail format auto-sorts users’ emails in up to five different categories: Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums; and is used in both Google’s mobile and primary email platforms. In this new setup, OPA emails will probably go to your Promotions inbox.
To ensure that you don’t miss any OPA emails, redirect them to your Primary tab. To move an OPA email to your Primary inbox, left-click on it, hold it, and drag it to the Primary tab. Click “Yes” when prompted, “Do this for future messages from ....” This needs to be done only once for each of our eBulletins, Voter Voice alerts and Ohio Pharmacy Newslines.
Make these changes as soon as possible so you don’t miss any important OPA email.
Also, by adding firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book, safe senders and safe domain lists, OPA communications will be less likely to end up in your Spam folder.
