Updates from the State Fire Marshal...

As the temperatures around Ohio have now dropped, it is important now more than ever that we are spreading the word about home heating and fire safety.

As of January 27th, Ohio has had 13 fire fatalities in 2016. As this number rises, so does the need to increase our efforts to keep Ohioans safe. Please double your efforts to spread alternative heating safety information and make sure no Ohioan goes another day without working smoke alarms.

January and February continually prove to be months where a lot of fire fatalities occur. Please consider hosting events, contacting media and canvassing neighborhoods in the coming weeks.
