Shawnee Township is unique community with heavy industrial base that creates a dynamic career in emergency response. Mandatory qualifications: Qualified applicants: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, possess a valid Ohio Vehicle Operator’s License, Firefighter level 2, EMT-Paramedic, HAZMAT/WMD Tech, Pass a drug and alcohol screening along with a physical exam, and a valid certification of CPAT or Firefighter Mile prior to interviews.
