NCDA Counselor Educator Academy

This Academy is for select counselor educators who are new to, or began teaching career counseling within the last 5 years within their UNIVERSITY COUNSELOR PREPARATION DEPARTMENT. It is designed to enhance and support counselor educators who teach future counselors about their role in career counseling. The 2018 Academy will build off the outstanding work and projects of the 2017 Academy by focusing on the growth and development of the intersection of counselor education and career counseling. Selected participants will receive a one-year free NCDA membership, have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced leaders in the field, and be part of a team presentation at the 2019 NCDA Global Career Development Conference where they will share their completed Academy project.

The 2018 Academy will convene 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19th, and 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20th, preceding the 2018 NCDA Global Career Development Conference in Phoenix, AZ.
