Tennessee Career Development Association Event
"Barriers Over Brunch"
Center for Career Development at UT Knoxville
Join us on Friday, May 18th for "Barriers Over Brunch" at the Center for Career Development at UT Knoxville. (10 AM to 2 PM) This event will help career practitioners and participants address specific employment barriers for those who identify as low-income, first generation students, veterans and persons with disabilities. Participants will learn best practices and have the opportunity to strategize with other professionals in order to help clients overcome their barriers. An examination of job search strategies and placement techniques benefiting those populations will take place in break-out sessions and a panel discussion.
Brunch and parking is included in the price of registration and CEUs will be offered during this half-day event; approved by the National Career Development Association.
