In an effort to increase multi-modal and statewide representation, the board of directors for TransportationMATTERS welcomes three new members to the board: Ryan Ratledge, Paul Toth, and Kevin Burch. Each will serve a three year term.
Ryan Ratledge is the General Manager for the Indiana & Ohio Railway and the Central Railroad of Indiana based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He began his career just over 16 years ago as a switchman / brakeman with the ATSF Railway. In September, 2007, he joined the Rail America team as a General Manager in Elma, WA on the Puget Sound and Pacific Railroad moving to Cincinnati in 2008.
Paul Toth is the President and CEO of the Toledo-Lucas County Airport Authority. Paul has been employed with the Port Authority for over 20 years, serving in several capacities during his career. He served as Director of New Project Development and Technical Services and also served as Director of Airports for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority prior to being appointed President and CEO in 2009
Kevin Burch has 37 years of experience in the trucking industry. Since 1990, Kevin has been President of Jet Express, Inc., as well as a partner in the company based in Dayton. Kevin is immediate Past-Chairman of the Truckload Carrier's Association, based in Alexandria, Virgina and an active member of the American Trucking Association.

OTEC Annual Conference October 19-20, 2010 Columbus, Ohio
The Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference is a two-day conference attended by over 2,600 people from across the state of Ohio. The program tries to address the latest policy and technical information, as well as covering new ideas in transportation policy, planning, environmental, design, construction, maintenance, operation, local government, and management of transportation resources.
