SynodFest 2012
Area Attractions
There are lots of activities for all members of the Southern Ohio Synod to do while participating in SynodFest. Some are coordinated through the Southern Ohio Synod like workshops, service projects and Assembly, but others are waiting to be discovered. Here's a few examples:
- Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens
- The Newport Aquarium
- The National Underground Railroad Museum
- The Taft Museum
- The Boyhood home of William Howard Taft
- The Cincinnati Museum Center (Union Terminal). The following Museums are housed here:
- The Museum of History
- The Cincinnati HistoricalSociety Museum
- The Children’s MuseumThe Omnimax Theater
- During SynodFest A Day in Pompeii exhibit will be open at the Cincinnati Museum Center (www.cincymuseum.org)
- The Cincinnati Art Museum and Krohn Conservatory
- Riding on the Ducks (a craft that goes from land to water), board in Newport
- There is the possibility of a Cincinnati Reds game
