Celebration! Worship! Called to Common Mission!
Come for worship, celebration and discussion on the future of the Church with our Episcopal colleagues as we gather as full communion partners in our common mission to share the Gospel in Southern Ohio and the world.

Synod-wide Youth & Family World Hunger Event--Oct 22
The afternoon will be filled with music, fun, snacks, and hunger awareness activities.  Performances will take place by youth gathering artists AGAPE* (David Scherer) and Rachel Kurtz.

Lord of Life, Columbus Endowment Grant Applications Open - Deadline Sept 15
The Mission Endowment Committee of Lord of Life Church is accepting grant applications for 2012. The Mission Endowment Fund Committee annually makes grants from the congregation's Mission Endowment Fund consistent with its bylaws.

ELCA Commemorates 10th Anniversary of Sept 11 Terrorist Attacks
A commemoration of "Prayer and Remembrance" will take place Sept. 11, 2011, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New York City to acknowledge the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in the United States that day.

ELCA Disaster Response Sends $71,000 in Grants for Hurricane Response
Thanks to the generous response of members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, ELCA Disaster Response distributed emergency grants totaling $71,000 in the wake of Hurricane Irene. The hurricane impacted a number of U.S. states as it steamrolled from Puerto Rico to the border of Canada.
