Deadline Updated: Lutheran Legacy Endowent Funds Available for Southern Ohio Synod Congregations
Dear Friends in Christ,
The Lutheran Legacy Endowment Committee of the Southern Ohio Synod is pleased to announce that funds will be available for distribution to deserving projects within the Synod. Although the required Endowment level in the fund is below the principal required to maintain, there are funds available.
Two congregations that received funds in past years determined that they were unable to complete the project outlined in their application. For this reason the Lutheran Legacy Endowment Fund will have $3,000 available for distribution. Only projects that are directed toward the Children Focus Area or Elderly Focus Area will be accepted.
Funds available for the two focus areas are as follow:
Children $2,500
Elderly $ 300
Total $3,000
If you congregation is interested in applying for these funds, please download the Application Form and the follow-up Report Forms.
Applications are due on Thursday April 1, 2010* by Noon. Please prepare your application and mail to:
