A few of our synod's voting members going to the 2009 ELCA Churchwide Assembly in Minneapolis, Minnesota (August 17-23) have agreed to post written and photo updates on what they are seeing and hearing while at the event.
Pastors Craig Fourman, Katie Kerrigan and Mike Poole will be posting their insights here. This section will be updated at least daily and will allow readers to post comments to each of the postings. A sample comment is posted below.
Our goal is to create conversation among our people about what goes on at the churchwide assemblies, who attends, why they choose to attend and what is discussed. We look for these postings to be fun and informational.
This section of our website will also house links to the ELCA live webcasts, news releases, as well as links to the official Facebook and Twitter sites for this event.
