Youth Advocate Conversation/Training

To Be Held at Bethel, Grove City

Mark your calendars for a Synod-wide Youth Advocate meeting/training on Saturday April 2, 2011 at Bethel, Grove City.  This will be a chance to meet, learn, and converse with others devoted to congregational children's and youth ministry. 

Who: For adult volunteers, paid youth staff, and/or anyone interested in identifying and discussing how to go about changing congregational cultures related to youth ministry.

What: A Creating Healthy Cultures in Children, Youth, and/or Family Ministry in Congregations Seminar

When: Saturday April 2 from 10am to 3pm

Where: Bethel Lutheran, Grove City (4501 Hoover Road)

Format: This seminar is being designed to bring together folks interested in sharing and hearing how they and others have changed the children's and youth ministry cultures in their congregations.  We will focus a on wide variety of topics including worship, the word, prayer, service, finances, relationships, summer trips, etc...There are scores of culture stories that can be shared.  This will be a great practical idea session for folks.

Cost: Lunch ($10 Max).  Pay the day of the event.
