ABOUT
The Seattle Chapter brings to SCAA vast experiences in the development of custom public access defibrillation programs, both domestically and internationally. They ensure successful sustainability by assisting communities with fundraising projects, research, grant-writing, and sharing best practices in building community support for the programs.
NEWS
The Seattle Chapter of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association would like to invite you to join us for a picnic, Sunday August 7th, 12:30-3:00pm at Anderson Park in Redmond (7802 168th Avenue NE). Please bring a potluck item of your choosing to share. SCAA will provide drinks, plates, and utensils.
As always, the more the merrier, so if you have a friend or family member who you think might enjoy this gathering, please feel free bring them along!
Looking forward, the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association will be holding their national conference September 23-25 in Minneapolis. Many chapters from around the country, including the Seattle Chapter, will be in attendance. If you are interested in attending as well, let me know and I will pass along some additional information to you. Saturday, October 15th, is the Puget Sound Heart Walk. The event starts at 9am at Seattle Center. Anyone care to walk with us?
The Nick of Time Foundation also has several upcoming events planned to help increase CPR/AED awareness, including a night at the ballpark Wednesday, September 14th, to watch the Mariners vs. the New York Yankees. Sounds like fun. Any one interested in attending? See mariners.com/nickoftimefoundation for additional information.
