The Organization was founded by Ryan Schaefer who has recently worked on a PSA with Washington State University women's basketball coach June Daugherty (sponsored by Hope Heart Institute in Seattle), and he works with local medical professionals to sponsor Hope for Heart programs in the community, including 10K races and dinners. He is especially involved with the development, marketing, and fundraising for the events. Schaefer is seeking potential SCAA members in Spokane to take part in this new community-minded enterprise.
