Kids’ Dentist Makes Midair Rescue

The passenger seated aboard US Airways Flight 1734 had just suffered a heart attack and had no pulse.
Dr. Martin Kaplan of Stoughton knew there was little time to save the 75-year-old man who was clinically dead at the front of the passenger jet.
When multiple defibrillator shocks didn't revive him, Kaplan applied chest compressions.
Finally - he got a pulse.
