West Trainer Reacts Quickly When Player Collapses

Magnolia West High School soccer coach Kevin Meyer said a junior varsity soccer player who collapsed at practice Wednesday afternoon was in stable condition when he was taken by ambulance to Tomball Regional Hospital.

Magnolia ISD Assistant Athletic Director Ray Kenjura, who quickly was at the scene along with Magnolia West Principal Rob Stewart and MWHS Athletic Coordinator Shawn Bell, said it has been determined the player had "some type of seizure."

"They're in the process of evaluating that right now," Kenjura said.
