Iowa Affiliate Continues to Educate and Innovate

On August 15-17, 2009, SCAA's Iowa Affiliate had a booth at the Iowa State Fair held in Des Moines from August 13-22. 45 affiliate members participated in the activities that included demonstrations on how to perform CPR and how to use AED's. They were able to provide information and give demonstrations to over 1,000 attendees of the Fair. They also had the privilege of meeting six people who had saved the lives of others with the use of CPR and AED's. Those six people were given the Iowa Affiliate's "hero pin".
