Preventing SCA Deaths on the Golf Course
In partnership with CardioReady and I-Risk Solutions, SCAA hosted a webinar for more than 250 golf club insurance brokers and golf club managers on April 14. The topic was the need for AEDs at golf courses. SCAA's presentation focused on the prevalence of SCA, risk factors and need for effective SCA emergency response programs.
SCAA, CardioReady, and I-Risk Solutions hope this initiative will prevent death by sudden cardiac arrest on the green as well as raise awareness of the threat posed by SCA.
