Chapter Leader Pioneers AED Program
James Weber Spearheads Installation Initiative
Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter leader James Weber, along with the Manheim Township Ambulance Association, recently installed an AED in a local grocery store. This is just the first of what Weber hopes will be many AED installations in Manheim Township.
Placed in Oregon Dairy, the AED will do its part in helping to prevent a portion of the 325,000 deaths caused in the US by sudden cardiac arrest each year.
"Some of [the deaths caused by SCA] are in Manheim Township," Weber stated. "We want to prevent that."
