ORAEF Give Something Back Scholarship - $1000
Mr. Bob Carr, Founder and CEO of Heartland Payment Systems, donated money for this scholarship as a tribute to his mother who worked as a waitress for over 35 years and to the foodservice industry of which he worked while attending college. These scholarship monies are available to the child of an ORA member who wants to continue post-secondary culinary learning. Scholarship monies are distributed directly to the college instead of directly to the student so that the student remains eligible for assistance from the college.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a child of an ORA member
- Have applied to or gained acceptance into a culinary arts or food management hospitality-related post-secondary program, either part-time or full-time.
