Ohio's Minimum Wage Increased January 1, 2012

The increase is tied to the rising Consumer Price Index, 2006 constitutional amendment

Effective January 1, 2012, Ohio’s minimum wage increased to $7.70 per hour for non-tipped employees and to $3.85 per hour for tipped employees, plus tips. The new minimum wage rate will apply to employers who gross more than $283,000 per year.

BREAKING NEWS: River Ranch Recalls Retail and Food Service Salads Because Of Possible Health Risk

The salads have the potential of being contaminated with Listeria

River Ranch Fresh Foods, LLC of Salinas, CA has initiated a voluntary recall of retail and foodservice bagged salads because they have the potential of being contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes following routine random retail salad finished product tests conducted in the marketplace by the Food & Drug Administration.
